When we pray, the Spirit helps us (Romans 8:26-27). Romans 8:13 says that the Spirit gives us the power to fight sin and the strength to do things we never thought we could do (Ephesians 3:14-21). The Spirit helps us feel better when we’re hurting and shows us that God is with us (John 14:15-26). The Spirit is the best proof that we belong to God (Romans 8:9; Romans 8:14-16).
