This is just another way to say, “Love your neighbor as yourself!” Jesus came to carry our problems and take away the shame and pain that come from our sin. Read Isaiah 53 for a powerful description of God’s Suffering Servant. This passage is often used to talk about Jesus. Now, he wants us to live in ways that are good and helpful to those around us. We are called to do more than just pray or ask what we can do to help. We are to serve, minister, and help those who are struggling.<\/p>\n
