That is one of the messages of Jesus in the Gospel of John. We certainly do not get to experience all of the gifts that await us when we return to the Father. But Jesus wants us to know and feel his love and the presence of the Father in our lives right now! He even said a prayer for us! So let&#8217;s seek the Father \u2014 not to merely know about him, but to know him! He longs to be near us and will do so as we approach him! He is at work in us, thus the true issue is our awareness of his presence and activities, not his proximity. Let us open our eyes and hearts to our Father and beg him to show us his presence!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Thought<\/p>\n<p>Eternal life starts right now! Make me more conscious of your providential care and your everyday presence in me through your Spirit. Open my eyes and heart, sweet LORD, that I may know you more thoroughly.
