Instead, he gave it up to save us. Now, he wants us to follow his lead and feel what he feels. He wants us to treat each other the way he has treated us, putting their needs and God&#8217;s will ahead of our own. Now that&#8217;s a change I hope to see all the way through.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Thought<\/p>\n<p>Jesus didn&#8217;t hold on to his glory in heaven. Instead, he gave it up to save us. Now, he wants us to follow his lead and feel what he feels. He wants us to treat each other the way he has treated us, putting their needs and God&#8217;s will ahead of our own. Now that&#8217;s a change I hope to see all the way through.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Prayer<\/p>\n<p>Please change my heart and mind, Father God, by the power of your Holy Spirit. I want you to think the way I do. I want what&#8217;s in my heart to be like what was important to your Son. I want your Spirit to direct my will. Please forgive me for being stubborn about my own importance, my own will, and my own self-justification, even when I know it&#8217;s not right or best. Make my mind more like your Son&#8217;s mind.
