God&#8217;s kindness made it possible for Jesus to come to our world. Jesus had the &#8220;guts&#8221; to leave heaven, face the hardships of earthly life, and give himself to help other people. Jesus was strong enough to face the horrors and shame of the cross. So God gave Jesus some of his glory and put him above everyone else. Paul wants to remind us that God doesn&#8217;t forget our sacrifices, our obedience, or the hard things we have to go through.
