Jesus came to the world he had made and the land he had promised to his people, but they didn’t want to have anything to do with him. Sometimes, our hopes and dreams for Jesus can make it hard to see what he really wants for us and from us. Let’s not let these things happen to us.” I met Jesus, but I wasn’t ready to accept him. Please forgive me for the times I didn’t want to follow you or didn’t do what you asked. I know that you gave up and left everything to save me. So, please shape me into the person you want me to be and use me in ways that bless others and bring you glory. In Jesus’ precious name I pray.
