As Christians, our goal is not to follow some law or set of rules, or even to follow some discipline. As Christians, our goal is to be like Jesus in character and in what he did. This is what the Spirit does in us (2 Corinthians 3:18), and Paul makes it clear here and elsewhere (Galatians 4:19) that this is what he wants to accomplish when he works with other people. Shouldn’t we also do this as parents, friends, and spiritual guides?<\/p>\n
