I don’t know about you, but when I have to make a hard choice, it’s not between good and bad. Most of the time, I know what’s good and what’s bad, especially when bad means evil. When I have to choose between good, better, and best, it’s hard for me. Usually, my love for God is stronger than my weaknesses, and I choose to do good instead of bad. But it’s hard for me to choose between good and best if I haven’t put myself in front of God’s word and given my heart to him in prayer. But I’m sure that a lot of what God would like to do through us today doesn’t happen because we’ve settled for good when he wants to lead us to best.<\/p>\n

I don’t know about you, but when I have to make a hard choice, it’s not between good and bad. Most of the time, I know what’s good and what’s bad, especially when bad means evil. When I have to choose between good, better, and best, it’s hard for me. Usually, my love for God is stronger than my weaknesses, and I choose to do good instead of bad. But it’s hard for me to choose between good and best if I haven’t put myself in front of God’s word and given my heart to him in prayer. But I’m sure that a lot of what God would like to do through us today doesn’t happen because we’ve settled for good when he wants to lead us to best.<\/p>\n

Prayer<\/p>\n

God, you are kind and powerful. Please teach me your ways and give me your heart as I try to love you, know your will, and understand your ways. Help me figure out the best things to do today and use my time in the best way possible to do your will at work, with my family, among my friends, and especially in front of those who don’t know Christ as their Savior.
