The Law and the Prophets show that this is the case. This righteousness comes from God and is based on what Jesus did as a sacrifice to free us from the law and give us God&#8217;s grace. The real problem for us is trust. Many people today think that believing is just thinking something in one&#8217;s head, but the Bible says that belief comes from the heart and changes the way we act. So, what are you building your life around right now? How do you measure how good you are? What gives you a sense of safety? We can thank God that we don&#8217;t have to keep the law to save our lives, our futures, or our souls.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Thought<\/p>\n<p>The Old Testament talks about a future time when law will not be the basis of what is right. The Law and the Prophets show that this is the case. This righteousness comes from God and is based on what Jesus did as a sacrifice to free us from the law and give us God&#8217;s grace.
