Over the years, though, there was something about that tale of self-sacrifice that touched people&#8217;s hearts and brought God&#8217;s abducted children home. I&#8217;ll never understand why you took your beloved son and subjected him to such public humiliation while he was still on earth. But I do know this: in gratitude for his significant offering, I will serve you with all of my strength because you love me with an everlasting love. I appreciate your love.
