This is because Jesus, as the perfect sacrifice and guarantee of God&#8217;s great promises, is the one who makes this new covenant possible.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Thought<\/p>\n<p>The Old Testament is a beautiful love contract. In it, God saves people who have messed up and starts his plan of grace to bring us to Jesus. But as powerful as the old covenant was, we now have a better one. This is because Jesus, as the perfect sacrifice and guarantee of God&#8217;s great promises, is the one who makes this new covenant possible.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Prayer<\/p>\n<p>Thank you, Almighty God, for sending Jesus to carry out the plan you established so long ago and revealed via your ancient prophets.
